Graduating means changes to your Pro´s membership. Your free student association membership ends when you graduate. When you start employment, your membership must be upgraded to full Pro´s membership, at which point the union membership fee will apply.
We want your transition into working life to be as smooth as possible, because up-to-date membership means important, uninterrupted employment security for you.
What we offer our graduating student members?
We offer membership at a reduced monthly fee if you join Pro´s as a full member within six months of graduating. To take advantage of this offer, you must have a valid employment contract.
You pay a reduced membership fee of just 0.8% per month of your gross income, whereas the standard membership fee is 1.25%.
For example, with a monthly gross income of €3,000, you pay a membership fee of 0.8%, or €24 per month.
You’ll enjoy the lower membership fee for the whole of your graduation year, i.e. until the end of 2026, and also for the following full calendar year. Not bad, is it?

Pro rewards those graduating in 2026 with a gift
We want to reward everyone graduating this year and renewing their membership with a €40 GoGift super gift card.

Frequently asked questions about the upcoming VIP
This offer is open to members of Pro-Opiskelijat ry who graduated in 2026 and are not yet full members of Pro.
You can upgrade your membership to a full Pro´s membership in advance. Your membership and membership fee will take effect from the date your employment begins.
Your membership is active whilst your employment contract is in force, i.e. your employment has commenced. An employment contract due to start in more than six months’ time is no longer covered by the offer period.
The offer cannot be applied retroactively if your membership of Pro´s has already commenced after graduation.
Please note that whilst the reduced membership fee is in effect, you cannot opt for the employer-deduction scheme, meaning you will have to pay the membership fee yourself. That is why we recommend using eInvoice. Paying your membership fee is easy when you arrange with your bank to have your membership fee invoice sent automatically to your online banking.
At the end of the promotional period, i.e. at the end of 2027, your membership fee percentage will return to the standard rate. We will send you an email reminder of this change before the end of the period to ensure a smooth transition.
