Sectors of the consumer goods industry
Our members work in task areas such as product development, sales, marketing, administration, maintenance and logistics. Typical job titles are designer, laboratory technician, technical expert, foreman, production designer, pattern maker, secretary, assistant, product assistant, personnel assistant, marketing assistant, method technician, manufacturing manager, payroll accountant, accountant, financial assistant, product designer and expert, buyer and various titles in the IT sector.
In the rubber industry, our members work in companies that manufacture, for example, car tires, hoses, silicone products and gaskets.
Companies in the goldsmith industry manufacture and shape precious metal products. Textile and fashion companies manufacture clothing and fashion products as well as other textile products.
Companies in the shoe and leather industry manufacture shoes and bags as well as other leather products.
The glass-ceramic industry includes various industries, the glass processing industry and the ceramics industry, as well as the glazing industry.
Collective agreements
A collective agreement (TES, or tessi) is an agreement between a trade union and an employer's association on minimum working conditions in the field.
