Specialists and lawyers are just a phone call away when things happen in your life and you need support, sound advice or clear guidance on what to do.
Legal aid for Pro members
Our experts and lawyers ensure that your terms of employment are fair and in line with your contracts. They advise and negotiate on your behalf, resolve disputes and, as a last resort, defend you in court.
Legal costs can run into tens of thousands of euros. As a member, Pro's legal aid is financially risk-free for you.
Free legal counselling by phone on private matters
As a Pro's member, you also receive free advice on legal matters relating to your private life. These may relate, for example, to the drawing up of a will, the division of property between spouses or arrangements for children in the event of a separation, defects found in a purchased flat, or liability for damages in a housing association, for instance following water damage. The advice also covers legal issues affecting family members living in the same household as the member.

Pro's legal aid is risk-free for members
Many people choose not to challenge injustices in the workplace for fear of the costs involved. Legal costs can quickly run into tens of thousands of euros.
For Pro members, legal aid is financially risk-free. The union reimburses its members’ legal costs without any excess and with no upper limit in euros, even when proceedings continue in higher courts.
Pro´s legal aid covers:
• legal counselling
• settlement negotiations
• legal representation in court
The decision to take a case to court is made by Pro's Head of Legal Services.
Conditions for legal aid:
• membership must have been valid for at least three months prior to the incident
• membership fees must have been paid in accordance with the union’s rules
• the claim is based on law or agreements, and it is likely, based on the evidence, that the member has not been treated in accordance with the law or contracts
