Summary
- The merger of Unemployment Fund Pro and Aaria Unemployment Fund will take effect on 1 January 2027, bringing changes to the benefit application process and online services.
- Unemployment Fund Pro’s online services and payment system will be temporarily unavailable from 21 December 2026 to 3 January 2027. During this period, the processing of applications and benefit payments will be suspended.
- After the service interruption, online services will reopen on 4 January 2027 on the Aaria Unemployment Fund website at www.aariakassa.fi.
- Members are advised to follow the instructions on how to prepare for the system outage as the date approaches.
The online services and payment system will be unavailable from 21 December 2026 to 3 January 2027
Unemployment Fund Pro’s payment system will be unavailable from 21 December 2026 to 3 January 2027. As a result, Unemployment Fund Pro’s online services will also be completely unavailable from 21 December 2026.
This means that:
- applications, attachments and messages cannot be submitted via the online services between 21 December 2026 and 3 January 2027
- the processing of applications and the payment of benefits will be suspended from 21 December 2026 for the duration of the system outage. The final payment date in 2026 will be 22 December 2026.
We will provide more detailed information closer to the system outage on how to prepare for it and what to do if your application period for earnings-related daily allowance ends during the outage.
The online services will reopen on 4 January 2027
At the turn of the year, members of Unemployment Fund Pro will switch to using Aaria Unemployment Fund’s services. The online services will be available on the Aaria Unemployment Fund website at www.aariakassa.fi. There, you can submit applications and attachments and take care of other matters related to unemployment security as usual.
