This Privacy Policy supplements the Pro Privacy Policy for research activities.

Purpose of use of personal data
The pre-completed background data of the questionnaire for the Pro member surveys are used as register data of the Trade Union Confederation Pro. This information is used to refine the answers and reduce the burden of answering, which arises when you have to enter the background information yourself. At the same time, the member can also update the information.
Grounds for processing personal data in the context of Pro's research activities
What personal data are processed
The member's name and address, membership number and employment details. In addition, background data from previous surveys (such as qualifications, sector of employment and duration of employment), which are not sufficiently available in the register of members.
To which personal data are transferred or disclosed
Personal data are transferred from Pro's member registration system to the survey system used by Pro (Analystica), where the actual response takes place.
Retention period of personal data
The personal data will be stored for an indefinite period of time in Pro's (Analystica) survey system, which also stores the actual responses. There is no time limit for the retention, as the survey data are constantly reused/recycled.
Rights of the respondent to the data and their use
A member of Pro has no direct access to the survey data. Once the response form has been completed, the survey is closed for the respondent.
A Pro member can only edit or delete their responses via the Pro research services. In this case, please contact the researcher responsible for the survey at [email protected].
From the survey system, the response data is transferred to the internal research system of Pro, which is the responsibility of Pro's research services. Technically, Pro's IT services also maintain Pro's survey information systems. The Pro research information system is a separate database from the Pro register of members, which only applies to data from the Pro member surveys.
Consent to data processing
A Pro member can opt out of receiving email invitations to Pro surveys by contacting the Pro Research Services researcher responsible for the survey at [email protected]. In this case, the person's background information will not be extracted from the list of survey respondents in the Pro member register.
