The Trade Union Pro and the employers of the Technology Industry reached a negotiation result on the collective agreement for salaried employees on February 23. The union administrations have approved the negotiation result as a new collective agreement for salaried employees in the sector.
The agreement is valid until November 30, 2027, but it can be terminated on November 30, 2026. In all three years, the shop steward and the employer can negotiate wage increases together. If wage increases are not agreed locally, wages will be increased as follows:
- In 2025, the general increase paid to everyone is 2.0 percent and the employer's share is 0.5 percent.
- In 2026, the general increase paid to everyone is 2.2 percent and the employer's share is 0.7 percent.
- The general increase to be paid to everyone in 2027 is 2.0 percent and the employer's share is 0.4 percent.
As part of the agreement, paid family leave has been made equal between those who have given birth and those who have not given birth.
– The agreement can be considered good considering the whole. The salary increases achieved will significantly bridge the purchasing power gap, and in addition, equal paid family leave will significantly advance equality in working life, says Niko Simola, President of Pro.
– Our members deserve a big thank you for the support they showed at the negotiating table. Without our members' willingness to fight for their own terms and conditions, we would not have been able to achieve these salary increases. I would also like to express my gratitude to the negotiators on the other side for the negotiations that took place in a very constructive and solution-oriented spirit in a very challenging situation, Simola continues.
