Pro has launched work stoppages on 13 February and on 20 February in the paper industry. The work stoppage for clerical employees in the financial administration sector will begin on 27 February at 0:01 am and end on 4 March at 2020 11.59 pm.

The paper industry’s work stoppage applies to clerical employees’ work shifts during the period between 27 January at 0:00 am and 9 February 2020 at 11:59 pm. The Finnish Forest Industries Federation has announced a work stoppage on 26 January that will begin immediately after the paper industry’s two-week strike. The paper industry´s second work stoppage will begin on 13 February and the third work stoppage will begin on 20 February.

The work stoppage for clerical employees in the financial administration sector will begin on 27 February at 0:01 am and end on 4 March at 2020 11.59 pm.

Overtime, shift change and flex-time ban

Pro has also announced several bans on overtime work and shift changes. The bans on overtime and on shift changes apply to additional work and overtime work, work-related travel during working hours, being on call and on-call work if these involve additional work, overtime work or shift changes at the request of the employer.

The financial administration sector’s flex-time ban began from work shifts that began on Wednesday, 22 January 2020 and was extended to cover all work in financial administration companies and related support work. This flex-time ban is in place until further notice by Pro.
