Pro negotiates three generally binding collective agreements in the finance sector: finance, credit information and debt collection as well as cash handling. In addition, there are four company-specific collective agreements: Danske Bank, Finnish Centre for Pensions, Finnvera and Crosskey.  Pro also supervises, for its part, the interests of salaried employees in the insurance business.

Pro negotiates collective agreements for TeliaSonera, Elisa, DNA, and companies in charge of data network maintenance, among other things. Responsible for the collective agreements of clerical workers employed in call centres and electronic and printed media.

Pro negotiates about twenty generally binding or company-specific collective agreements. The sector covers collective agreements of the construction and real estate service. In addition, the sector negotiates agreements for transportation and logistics, as well as the collective agreements of the gaming industry, accountancy companies, and laboratory and stevedoring businesses, among other things.

Most of Pro members who work in the public sector are employed by government agencies and institutions, public utilities, universities, state-owned companies and also certain private employers. Pro negotiates approximately twenty collective agreements in the public sector.

Pro negotiates dozens of collective agreements in the industry sector, most of them generally binding. The sector covers, for instance, the technology, automotive, forestry (paper converting and woodworking), chemicals, food, energy, consumer goods industries and engineering designing and consulting services.

Pro’s regional centres are located in Helsinki, Jyväskylä, Kuopio, Lahti, Lappeenranta, Oulu, Tampere, Turku and Vaasa. The contract field officers working in regional centres help the members of Trade Union Pro in working life issues and support the activities of the associations. The centres participate in influencing the social, educational and industrial policies in their area and maintain Pro’s local cooperation relations.
